These windchimes are handcrafted from thick tempered aluminum tubing with a soft brushed finish.

This suspension technique reduces the resonance of the chimes. Placing pins inside the tubes at the resonant node (the spot on a vibrating tube that doesn't vibrate) eliminated the interference of the string against the tubes. This innovative design resulted in longer and clearer resonance.

Orders are shipped from the factory Monday through Friday, normally within 24-48 hours of receiving your payment.  However, during high demand periods, please allow up to 7 days for item to ship.

These chimes are intended for outdoor use and will provide years of enjoyment with little or no maintenance.  In corrosive environments, like coastal areas, the chimes will maintain a high luster if treated semi-annually with a protective lubricant such as gun oil or silicon spray. If cleaning is desired, we suggest that you use a nonmetallic scouring pad. Do not use steel wool.

• The hanging ring is made from stainless steel and will not rust.

• The ring above the tubes is aluminum and won't dry and crack like a wooden ring would.

• They feature recycled composite lumber strikers. Composite lumber is not only environmentally friendly it also creates a softer contact sound when applied to wind chime tubing.  These strikers are not  subject to drying or cracking and require no maintenance.

• The varying level of the tubes allows the striker to hit each tube in the center (or "sweet spot").  As xylophone players will attest, the center radiates the purest tone.

• The larger radius of the (circle of) tubes provides greater space between the tubes and striker, allowing each note to be heard individually, creating a more melodic sound when the chimes are in play.

• It requires less wind to activate a Grace Note Chime, due to added length on the center string.

• The lightweight aluminum windplate also contributes to the ease of play. Unlike heavier wooden windplates, the aluminum is weather resistant.
