Sunjel fireplaces are sold as un-vented appliances;
eliminating the need for electrical, mechanical or natural gas services
and the related monthly fees. There are no bans on this product. Only
un-vented gas has a state by state ban.
Owner controlled to burn at 3000 or 6000 BTU/hr. and
because there is no exterior vent, the units operate at 99% efficiency.
To shut down the fireplace, you can use the FREE Sunjel
Fuel Snuffer which is included with your unit, or simply place the lids
back on the canister(s) in these units, which is considered a manual shut
off.
The fuel holder box holds up to 2 cans
of Sunjel.
