Shipping Rates
Shipping rates on most items are
shown in the ad, and on all items are
shown at checkout. Shipping for most items is a flat fee for
anywhere in the Lower 48 States. Most items ship Fed Ex or UPS Ground unless otherwise
specified. Because most of our items come from different factories,
combined shipping is not available in most cases. If you'd like to
purchase multiple items, please contact us for possible combined shipping.
Shipping Times & Tracking
Items are ordered from their
respective factory
immediately upon your purchase. Depending on the warehouse your item
is coming from it may take 24 to 72
hours from the time of order for your item to ship. Some of the
specialty items, such as the slate vases may take up to 14 days to ship,
as they are hand-made specially for you. The ventless fireplaces can
take up to 3 weeks to ship from the factory, depending on the time of year
you order.
Items may be shipped from one or more
of our warehouses, depending on the item(s) ordered. Please allow 7 to 16
business days, for receipt of your order, depending on your location and
the location of the shipping warehouse.
Once your item has shipped, you will
be provided a USPS/UPS/ FedEx tracking number. At this time, we can only
ship items to the address where your credit card is billed unless you make
prior arrangements with us. In addition,
we currently only ship to the lower 48 states. Shipping to International
and APO/FPO addresses is
not currently available.
Misc. Shipping Information
The ship-to address must be the same
as the credit card billing address, and cannot be a Post Office
Box.
Out of Stock Items
Occasionally the demand for a product
exceeds our expectations, and therefore the item may be out of stock at
the time the order is placed. Should this occur, we will contact you
immediately with an estimated date that this product should become
available, and give you the option of continuing your order or receiving
an immediate full refund.
Procedure for Damaged Items
We use the utmost care in packaging
your purchase and offer a 100% Money-Back
Guarantee on your purchase. PLEASE INSPECT your package immediately
and make a notation of any external damage on the freight bill when you
sign for your package. Should the contents also be damaged, be sure to
keep all packing materials and contact Distinctive Home and Garden
within 5 calendar days at:

arrangements for reimbursement by the shipper.
Returns
We understand that, by purchasing
items online, you are not able to physically inspect the item you are
purchasing. It is for this reason that we offer a 100% money-back
guarantee on most items if you are dissatisfied with your purchase. All
returned non-defective merchandise must be in original purchase condition
with the original packing intact and include the original invoice/receipt/
packing slip. Merchandise must be returned insured, in order to protect
your interest.
Distinctive Home and Garden will
issue a credit upon approval of the returned merchandise. Distinctive
Home and Garden reserves the right to make a determination on the
returnability of an item that has been used.
